The Card Convention is a community project created by The Card Inn that has a few simple goals:
- To create an in-person community of magicians, cardists & card enthusiasts
- To offer learning resources to attendees
- To keep the hype & passion alive for our craft

We hosted our first event in London during October 2024. This event was a blast and we had 53 attendees, some of which had flown in from abroad to attend. Click here to see the blog post from that day. You can also see more photos from the event on our Instagram.
The day consisted of socialising, making new friends, a quiz, several guest speakers and some performances from the attendees. Oh, and lots of playing cards were purchased from our 4 dealer tables!
Guest Speakers at TCC 2024:
- Brendan Patricks - Brendan spoke about his career as a Magician and provided brilliant advice and anecdotes
- Alex Haines - Alex is the designer of Imported, Gosprey & Oshawk, plus the Albatross Playing Cards. Alex gave us an insight into designing + producing playing cards.
- Missing New York - Missing provided an online tutorial teaching a cardistry move by Leo Flores.
- Alex Pandrea - Alex is a legend of the playing card industry. Alex provided a lecture on how to produce playing cards which included some brilliant advice.
The Card Convention is not just a great way to meet new people, but also to learn something new and browse a large variety of playing cards from card shops + independent creators.
